Terms of play

Playing

The game is free to play. Be kind: no cheating, bots or attempts to break the game. We may reset progress gained by cheating or close accounts that abuse the game or other players.

Game currencies

Crumbs and Gummies are game items with no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or real goods. Stamps from the game are earned only by playing (never bought) and go into the Biscuit Tin, where they can be traded for Biscuit Tin treats on scribblesnacks.com, within the limits shown in the game and the Biscuit Tin terms (scribblesnacks.com/pages/tin-terms). Treats can change or pause (for example if the monthly treat budget runs out); codes already issued keep working until they expire.

Store rewards

Reward codes are single use, linked to one shop account, expire after 30 days, need the minimum spend shown, and cannot be combined with other discounts except free shipping. They are not a prize, contest or lottery: every reward has a fixed stamp price.

Purchases

Treats (gummies, styles, the Snack Pass and other game items) are optional. In the app versions they are processed by Apple or Google. On the web they are sold by Scribble Snacks through our Shopify checkout in Australian dollars, and they arrive in the cafe that started the checkout once payment is confirmed. A Snack Pass bought on the web lasts 4 weeks and does not renew. Game items have no cash value and are for use in the game only. Nothing you can buy contains random rewards.

Extras (items bought with real money) are for players 13 and up. Players aged 13 to 17 have a monthly spending limit across the web and the apps, and should ask a grown-up before buying.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected. If something you bought on the web did not arrive or was not right, email contact@scribblesnacks.com with your order number. If a purchase is refunded, the item is taken back from your cafe (we never take your balance below zero).

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop in the game shows real Scribble Snacks products. Orders are placed and paid on our Shopify checkout and follow the store's own terms, shipping and refund policies at scribblesnacks.com. Under-13s need a grown-up to finish a checkout.

Changes

We will improve and change the game over time. If these terms change in an important way we will say so in the game.
