Scribble Snacks

Privacy policy

Scribble Snacks game (web, iOS and Android). Last updated 13 October 2026.

The short version: you can play without giving us your name or email. We collect as little as we can, never sell data, never show personalised ads to anyone under 16, and there is no free-text chat. You can delete your account in the game or on our delete account page.

Who we are

The Scribble Snacks game is made by Scribble Snacks, a business of Ben Palmer (sole trader, ABN 61 761 967 547, Western Australia). Contact: contact@scribblesnacks.com.

What we collect and why

Children

The game is designed to be safe for children: no free-text chat, no user pictures, no paid random rewards, no personalised ads for under-16s, and links to the shop are behind a grown-up check for under-13s. Store reward codes for under-13s are sent to the linked grown-up shop account, never shown in the game. We follow the Australian Privacy Act, the OAIC Children's Online Privacy Code, and the US COPPA rule. A parent or guardian can ask us to see or delete a child's data at contact@scribblesnacks.com.

Who we share data with

Only the services that run the game for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database, Turnstile; data may be processed outside Australia), Google (sign-in if you choose it, Analytics for 13+), Apple (sign-in and purchases if you choose them), Gmail (sending sign-in codes) and Shopify (only if you link a shop account). We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep your game data while your account exists. Inactive guest accounts may be removed after 24 months. When you delete your account we remove it after a 7-day change-your-mind window; we keep only an anonymous record of rewards issued, for fraud and tax reasons.
